Teve início, esta semana, a primeira fase das Obras de Requalificação Urbana da Rua de São Sebastião, Largo do Pelourinho, Rua e Travessa da República, no Cartaxo, “com a montagem e organização do estaleiro de apoio aos trabalhos, assim como os trabalhos preparatórios para a intervenção na Travessa da República”, conforme escreve a autarquia em comunicado.
Durante esta fase, com uma duração prevista de 60 dias, o trânsito estará interditado na Travessa da República. O trânsito proveniente da Rua Batalhoz que pretenda voltar para a Rua José Ribeiro da Costa, Largo do Osório ou Rua Velha, “poderá fazê-lo pela Travessa da Reboleira, que passará a ter o sentido inverso ao habitual”.
A autarquia refere ainda que está a tentar, juntamente com o empreiteiro, “encontrar soluções para eventuais necessidades de cargas/descargas que possam dar resposta satisfatória às empresas localizadas nesta zona”.
