0 Em comunicado, a Câmara Municipal do Cartaxo explica que, estão a ser adquiridos quase 300 computadores portáteis, mais 138 routers 4G e internet com 75GB de tráfego mensal, para 3 meses, e ainda pastas para acondicionamento dos equipamentos, um investimento que ultrapassa os 80 mil euros.
Os computadores – que serão cedidos às famílias, a título de empréstimo -, e o serviço de internet serão comprados pela autarquia, que já sinalizou todos os alunos (que vão desde o primeiro ano até ao 12º) que não podem seguir as aulas em casa, por falta de equipamento informático.
“Esta é uma medida de apoio social para que ninguém fique de fora, para que nenhum aluno, por razões de carência económica, fique privado do direito universal de acesso à educação”, explica Pedro Ribeiro, presidente da Câmara Municipal, citado na mesma nota de imprensa.
Segundo o autarca, houve algumas dificuldades na aquisição destes equipamentos – “por elevada procura” -, o que se prevê que a entrega dos mesmos seja feita “dentro de duas ou três semanas”. Já a entrega dos pacotes de internet ainda não há uma data prevista.
Autarquia vai disponibilizar também entrega ao domícilio de materiais pedagógicos e trabalhos de casa
A par deste trabalho, a área de Educação e Juventude da Câmara Municipal criou um serviço de apoio às crianças e jovens, de forma a minimizar a dificuldade de acesso a recursos pedagógicos.
Com o nome ‘Levar a escola até casa’, a ideia é apoiar os alunos que não dispõem de meios para comunicar com a escola e com a comunidade docente.
Para tal, a Câmara Municipal “disponibilizou uma viatura e os recursos humanos necessários para entrega ao domicílio de materiais pedagógicos e recolha dos trabalhos de casa”.
O projeto foi criado em parceria com os agrupamentos escolares, e neste momento está a apoiar 125 alunos.
